Mack Savage is a Hip Hop artist from New Jersey; his rap influences are Meek Mill and Biggie

Mack Savage; is from New Jersey he started freestyling/ battle rapping around the age of; twelve. By the age of; fourteen; Mack realized that he wanted to take it seriously and started recording music as he entered into high school.

INTERVIEW

1. What Does Your Artist Name Mean?

Mack Savage:

“Growing up my dad’s name was Mack Jr; my grandfather’s name was Mack Sr; They called me little Mac. My favorite pimp/ villain in the world is The Joker. He was a Mack. The Savage comes from the fact that nothing phased me; I didn’t care about anything.”

2. Who Are Your Biggest Music Influences?

Mack Savage:

“Meek Mill, and Biggie; because both of them keep it real. Biggie is from New York; Meek is from Philly; I’m from New Jersey so I fuck with both of them. My older brother introduced me to Meek and Biggie; naturally I fell in love with their musicality and they influenced me to become the artist I am today. Meek and Biggie; show care in their work and show they put in effort. Naturally being inspired by two great artists; it pushes me to know that if they can come from nothing; then I can do it too.”

3. How Did You get into music?

Mack Savage:

“I got into music; through listening to my influences Meek and Biggie”

4. What’s The Craziest Thing That’s Happened within your music career so far?

Mack Savage:

“The craziest thing that has happened to me as an artist is that I went to the Grammy’s in 2016”

5. How’s your album coming along?

Mack Savage:

“Be on the look out for Deez nutz mixtap dropping later in 2020; I’m playing; My album is going to be dropping soon”

6. What’s Your Songwriting Process?

Mack Savage:

“I like waking up early in the morning; I feel refreshed and clear headed to write my songs; I think of some of my best work while I am in the shower. “I come up with my best creative work while in the bathroom” – Steve Jobs.

7. Who Do You Sound Like?

Mack Savage:

“I got influences from up north; and my brother.

8. What are your goals?

Mack Savage:

“I want to be the best rapper alive; but for real though; I want to enjoy life and be comfortable to do what I want to do.”

10. Do you come from the streets; if not; how do you relate?

Mack Savage:

“I lived in the hood, but not in the projects. I’m a real ass person”

11. What do you think of Dababy?

Mack Savage:

“Dababy; got his own vibe; I got my own vibe. His music is good but I’m more worried about myself as an artist”

ABOUT MACK SAVAGE

Mack Savage; is from New Jersey he started freestyling/ battle rapping around the age of; twelve. By the age of; fourteen; Mack realized that he wanted to take it seriously and started recording music as he entered into high school. Mack had his first taste of performing in front of his class mates at Pemberton Highschool in New Jersey; where the crowd went crazy. Mack made his move to Florida in 2019 and met his producer Arsenio Soundz; who is a music producer based in Tampa, Florida.
